Two official newspapers of Azerbaijan have changed their publication frequency.
Medianews.az reports that the newspapers “Xalq qəzeti” and “Azərbaycan” have started to be published 5 times a week instead of 6 times. Both newspapers have canceled their Sunday editions. From now on, these newspapers will be available at stands on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
“Xalq qəzeti” is a publication of the Presidential Administration, and “Azərbaycan” is the organ of the National Assembly.
Another official newspaper – the Russian-language “Bakinski rabochi,” a publication of the Presidential Administration – is weekly and is published on Saturdays.
