In Azerbaijan, there are 1872 preschool education institutions, 4357 general education institutions, 87 vocational education institutions, 63 secondary specialized education institutions, and 51 higher education institutions operating.
Medianews.az reports that this statistic was revealed in the collection “Education, science and culture in Azerbaijan.”
The statistics reflect the situation as of the end of 2024.
The collection also presents indicators related to the education level of the population.
According to the official report, by the beginning of 2025, among every 1000 people aged 15 and over, 164 had higher education, 91 had secondary specialized education, 54 had vocational education, 568 had complete secondary education, and 97 had general secondary education.
