As of October 1, 2025, more than 29.2 billion manats in loans and more than 15.7 billion manats in deposits have been formalized in Azerbaijan.
Medianews.az reports that 22.2 billion manats of the loans and 13.9 billion manats of the deposits belong to the capital city Baku.
According to the Central Bank's report, the total assets of 22 banks exceeded 56.1 billion manats, and total liabilities exceeded 48.9 billion manats.
The statistical bulletin shows overdue loans amounting to 528.1 million manats. The year 2025 started with 449.1 million manats of problematic loans.
