Azerbaijan and Jordan discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation and regional development.
Report informs citing MFA that the discussions took place on the sidelines of a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the First Deputy Speaker of the Lower House of Jordan Parliament, Abdul Raheem Falah Al-Ma’ayah, and the assistant to the chairman of the Jordan Senate, the head of the Jordan-Azerbaijan Brotherhood Committee, Mufleh Al-Rahemi.
At the meeting, it was noted that for more than 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, there has been productive interaction between the two countries in various fields, including politics, economics, trade, tourism and education. Support based on mutual friendship and solidarity within regional and international organizations was also noted.
The parties exchanged views on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
