Israel and the Palestinian radical movement Hamas, with the help of mediators represented by Egypt and Qatar, are close to concluding a new deal to extend the humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip by two days, Report informs referring to TASS.
The head of the Egyptian state information service, Diaa Rashwan, stressed that the new agreement involves “an exchange of 20 Israeli hostages for 60 Palestinians” imprisoned in Israeli prisons.
“The extension of the truce implies the release of 10 women and children hostages daily in Gaza in exchange for 30 Palestinians in Israeli prisons,” he added.
