The United States’ “information indicates” that Iran is planning to send “up to several hundred” drones to Russia “on an expedited timeline,” US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan stated on Monday, APA reports citing Teletrader.
Some of the drones will be “weapons capable” and Iranians will “train” Russian forces on how to use them with the training set to begin in “early July,” he told the press at the White House during a conference.
“This is another example of how Russia is looking to countries like Iran for capabilities” used in attacks on Saudi Arabia from Yemen, Sullivan alleged.
