Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated on Thursday that Russia is a “reliable energy supplier” to Europe, emphasizing that Moscow fulfills all of its “obligations” as an energy provider, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The spokesman reiterated the issue with the Nord Stream pipeline infrastructure is strictly of technical nature, and not “political,” adding that the turbine must be serviced to resume working at its full capacity.
Earlier, Germany triggered phase two of the emergency gas plan as the country fears Russia could completely cut gas supplies ahead of the annual maintenance of the Nord Stream 1 pipeline in July.
