One person was killed and another three injured in a shooting in Northeast Washington D.C., the police said on Tuesday, APA reports citing Teletrader.
Metropolitan Police Department Chief Robert Contee stated that the attacker opened fire at the Stewart Funeral Home, targeting people gathered in front of the building. Contee called the gunman “brazen,” specifying that the wounded attended the funeral of a homicide victim who was shot in March.
The incident comes a day after two separate deadly shootings in Louisville, which took place at the Old National Bank and Jefferson Community & Technical College.
