Pope Francis has been hospitalized over a respiratory infection, the Vatican press service said on Wednesday, APA reports citing Teletrader.
Vatican spokesman Matteo Bruni noted that the pope does not have COVID-19 but that tests showed he does have a respiratory infection that will “require some days of medical therapy.”
Earlier, Pope Francis canceled his audiences for the next two days.
