On March 29, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov was received by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu within the framework of his official visit to the State of Israel, APA reports citing Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu first asked to convey his greetings to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev. He remembered his visits to Azerbaijan with pleasure. He conveyed his congratulations on the opening of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Israel. The Prime Minister said that Israel is interested in further development of cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov recalled with satisfaction that the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries was celebrated last year and emphasized that the establishment of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the State of Israel is an example of the relations entering a new stage.
During the meeting, the current level of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Israel, prospects for the development of relations, various aspects of cooperation in security, economic relations and other fields were discussed.
