Polish Foreign Ministry spokesman Lukasz Jasina on Sunday said Russia’s plan to station its tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus threatens to further escalate tensions in the region, APA reports citing Teletrader.
“It is a further step towards drawing Belarus into the cogs of the Russian war machine,” Jasina stated.
According to the spokesperson, the decision raises the risk of nuclear proliferation.
