Since the beginning of the war, Russian armed forces have carried out a total of 5,722 operational-tactical aircraft flights and 551 launches of “Iskander” and “Kalibr” cruise missiles, said Oleksiy Gromov, Ukrainian General Staff Main Operations Deputy Chief, APA reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.
“Of these, 1,211 flights were made from the territory of the Republic of Belarus alone, more than 20% of the total number, and there were 61 launches of “Iskander” type cruise missiles with the intention to destroy critical infrastructure in Ukraine. ” the statement said.
