The protesters in Armenia headed from the parliament building to the complex of government buildings on Vazgen Sargsyan Street, Report informs referring to the Armenian media.
The police tried to block the road for the protesters in front of the entrance to the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. However, the demonstrators broke through and ran to the building of the Ministry of Justice.
The law enforcement officers who arrived in time tried to push back the protesters, a scuffle ensued.
Later, one of the leaders of the movement, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, called on the demonstrators to move back to the street. The protesters went back to the roadway.
On May 2, protests organized by opposition forces resumed in Yerevan. The protesters demand the resignation of the authorities.
