President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky doubts the success of peace talks with the Russian Federation, APA reports citing TASS.
“Our negotiation teams interact at the level of their members. They are discussing preparations for the leaders’ meeting. I don’t really believe in such negotiations,” Zelensky said.
According to the President of Ukraine, a breakthrough in the negotiation process can be expected only after a special appeal from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Zelensky noted that it is important to continue talking, but until the President of the Russian Federation signs or issues any official appeal, the Ukrainian President does not see any prospects for these negotiations.
