Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin are expected to discuss the current situation in Ukraine, Turkiye’s peace efforts in the context of the Ukraine crisis, and the grain corridor in Astana. In addition, the events in Syria will also be discussed, reported TRT Haber.
The Turkish leader intends to talk with the head of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, before the meeting with Putin.
As for Erdogan’s meeting with Lukashenko, its possible topics are yet to be revealed. TRT Haber also emphasized that the President of Turkiye should address the participants of the sixth summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in addition to the bilateral talks.
