Fikret Amirov’s 100th anniversary will be celebrated at UNESCO, informs the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan.
Noted that on November 9-24, within the framework of the 41st Session of UNESCO’s General Conference held in Paris on November 9-24, the 100th anniversary of Fikret Amirov was included in UNESCO’s program of jubilees for 2022-2023, and the anniversary was confirmed to be celebrated internationally at the UNESCO level.
On November 3, a music evening dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Fikrat Amirov will be held in Paris, in the concert hall of the UNESCO headquarters under the joint organization of the Ministry of Culture and UNESCO.
Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra, named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, under the leadership of People’s Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, conductor Fakhraddin Karimov, Farhad Badalbeyli, People’s Artist of the USSR and the Republic of Azerbaijan, Honored artists Sabina Asadova, Babek Niftaliyev, young singers Seljan Nasibli, Orkhan Jalilov will perform at the concert.
